Why the Fee? We find that using our educator discounts and ordering supplies that would traditionally be on a supply list for an art student is much more cost effective than asking students to purchase their own supplies. This allows for providing the students with a much higher quality art supply than would be reasonable to ask a student to purchase on her own. The most efficient way to accomplish this for all of our students is to charge a flat fee. The fees increase with the level of class because as a students becomes more proficient in her art-making she requires higher quality materials which are more expensive.
